The first song written by Sneaky Pete for the original PlanB lineup of 1983 following the split in Pete's original band, Del Webb Explosion. The lyrics capture Pete's cryptic thoughts on the breakup of Del Webb and the formation of the new band, Plan B.

Review(s)

PlanB "Second Time Around" (Blueprint): an Adelaide independent, the bold brassy sound once made famous by the likes of Southside Johnny and that West Coast American bunch. This version is a lot rockier, and the song's a solid well-written commercial thing that would sound good on any radio station. Good perennial rock 'n' roll.

Shot in B&W and colour in various locations from back alleys in Adelaide's CBD to the foothills, this clip accompanied the band's first single, "Second Time Around." Featuring the band's traditional 8 piece line-up, the band included ex-Del Webb Explosion members Pete Flierl-bass, Heinz Stein-drums & Russell Burton-alto sax. Patrick Stapleton was the only other original PLAN B member with even at this early stage, the band having replaced its lead vocalist, guitarist and a brass player as well as adding Peter Beeby on keyboards. New members were Chris Goodall-lead vocals, Mark Rigoni-guitar & Phil Ryjoch-tenor sax.

Shot on location in the Adelaide Water Bubble, Elder Park during the winter of 1985. Featuring a 7 piece line-up consisting of Chris Goodall-lead vocals, Peter Flierl-bass, Patrick Stapleton-trombone, Rob Williams-trumpet,Peter Raidel-saxophone, Heinz Stein-drums & Len Moseley-guitar. The interviewer was Brett Clements and an interesting fun fact from this clip that went to air on Simon Townshend's Wonder World .......we all had to remove our footwear so as not to put a hole in the bubble.
